F4 driver Pietro Armanni will graduate to Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine joining Monolite Racing. The Italian will drive one of three cars that the team is planning to field for its second season in the series. In 2021, the Italian outfit showed good potential, claiming 10th place in the Team standings with four top-10 finishes and the best result of 5th. In 2021, he experienced a positive rookie season in the Italian Formula 4 Championship, where he managed to score 8 points. He was also 10th in the Rookie standings, with two appearances on the podium at Imola and in the final round of Monza. Since the end of his Formula 4 campaign, Armanni underwent an intense testing program, getting comfortable at the wheelof the Monolite Racing’s Formula Regional car. He will be back into action for the first Collective Test of the season, which will take place on March 23-24 at Barcelona.
